In collaboration with Medical Teams International, the Uganda Red Cross, and the Kampala Police Force, GPAS continues work on an emergency response system for trauma in Kampala, Uganda.

Each year numerous medical trainees, practicing physicians, and a variety of other healthcare and non-healthcare professionals participate GPAS research and clinical projects. GPAS focuses on local capacity building projects rather than clinical volunteer work.
